Arcadia Optimal Heating Pack, Clear

The Arcadia Reptile 'optimal heating pack' has been designed to provide reptile keepers with a cost-effective, single-box option for heating modern enclosures. This kit contains a handmade 75w PAR30 wide-beam Halogen Flood lamp and the original 50w Deep Heat Projector (DHP), both of which have a number of uses.

Some keepers may choose to use the Halogen lamp during the day for basking, and then the DHP at night when required to provide a lightless but energy-efficient and bioavailable heat source. Alternatively, the two lamps can be used together as a hybrid, with the Halogen lamp providing bright and attractive basking light that is quickly warming and rich in IR-A, while the DHP further fills the spectrum by adding more IR-B.

From Arcadia Reptile's own 10+ years of testing, the coupling of both Halogen and DHP has shown the very best results in terms of increases in activity, feeding, coloration, and reproduction. The Arcadia Reptile Halogen and DHP lamps are suitable for use with good digital dimming thermostats and should be used with wattage-appropriate ceramic deep dome lamp holders, such as the ClampLamp and ClampLamp-Graphite 5 ½".

It is important to note that to get the most life out of the bulb, power to the fixture should be shut off before removing or installing a bulb.

The included components in this kit are the bulbs, which are reflector (R) shaped, with a white light color and a glass material. The bulb base is E26, and the lamps are suitable for use in aquariums. The lamps are also dimmable, with a voltage of 110.0 volts and a wattage of 50.0 watts. The connectivity technology is infrared, and the control method is via an application or push-button controller.
